Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

While during my trip to Buffalo, I was eager to find a pastry shop that could satisfy my sweet tooth. Butter Block came up on my feed, and I was excited to try it based on all the great reviews. Needless to say, I really enjoyed my visit. I visited early afternoon, and there were plenty of pastries available. I loved how they had a seasonal menu, I feel like that makes it exciting for locals who want to try new things! I got the lemon and poppy seed pop tart, their cinnamon roll, and their sweet danish which was filled with rhubarb jam. Their pastry was AMAZING. It was so flaky, crunchy, and just so moist. I have never had a pastry with that texture - it was really perfect. I recommend trying out their danishes; I wish I had gotten a croissant or something more bread forward. The pop tart was not too sweet, I kind of wish it was but that's more of a preference thing. The cinnamon roll was also delicious. If I lived in the area, I would be stopping by regularly. I can see why this place is so popular, and it deserves its reviews! Note: There is limited seating inside since it's a small place so that is something to be mindful of. There is a bathroom inside of the shop. They also

Butter Block is an absolute staple in the Buffalo scene. Their savory danish, with the rotating flavors, are consistently one of the best things I grab. Perfectly seasoned with the right amount of salt, (which rare in Buffalo). The fillings are flavorful without overpowering the pastry. Their laminated pastries are really something special. Super flaky and crisp on the outside, but still soft, airy, and slightly chewy inside..

It's an amazing bakery! Everything is fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor. The pastries are absolutely delicious, and the coffee is excellent as well. The whole place has a warm, inviting atmosphere. Definitely one of the best spots for baked treats in the city.

I recently visited Butter Block Bakery in Buffalo and was very impressed. As vegetarians, we were pleased to find several baked-items that suited our diet (no meat fillings, etc). We tried the parmesan eggplant, Danish parmesan, caramelised onion Danish, Danish with coffee & matcha flavours, and a hazelnut croissant β all of them tasty. The apple Γ©clairs (which had a prominent cinnamon note) were also good, though I felt the cinnamon was slightly stronger than I might have preferred. The ambience is pleasant, inviting and well kept. Staff behaviour was courteous and efficient. The overall quality of the bakery items was clearly above average. What We Liked β’ The flavour and craftsmanship of the pastries stood out: buttery, flaky croissants, well-balanced savoury Danishes, and clean presentation. β’ Adequate vegetarian-friendly options (important to us). β’ Good ambience and friendly staff made for a comfortable visit. β’ The hazelnut croissant was a highlight, with good texture and flavour. A Few Minor Notes β’ The apple Γ©clair was very good, but the cinnamon flavour felt a little strong for my taste β if you prefer milder spice you might mention that. β’ As with many very good bakeri
